Our Last Day in London

Today is our last day at Pax Lodge and everybody was running around trying to get in one more place! Yesterday groups went at early and came back late!
Between all of us, I think we have been everywhere in London.
I have heard about plays, museums, gardens, palaces, stores ( Harrods!) restaurants, dungeons, towers, bridges and boat trips. So much more I can't even keep it straight where we have been.

Several people went and saw Billy Elliot and others saw Phantom - both groups had great seats and loved the shows.

Some ladies have been to the Headquarters of the Girl Guides near Buckingham Castle.

Girls Guides about to lead the tour of Olave House- WAGGS Headquarters
Today we had a brief tour of the WAGGS headquarters next door to Pax Lodge. The everybody separated at raced downtown.

Carol, Karen, Bev and Susan used the buses to travel to Camdon to a large flea market type place. We shopped for goodies to bring home and bargained our way into some great buys.

Then we sat along the canal, and ate our bag lunch.
Typical Double Decker Bus
Next we traveled to a Marks and Spencer 's food store to look over the local food.  They complain that the prices are high, but everything I checked out cost more in the states!

All of us have become very good at catching buses and the underground.

Pax Lodge volunteers leading to International event
Tonight we ate dinner at Pax Lodge with a group of Girl Guides from Scotland. They are here for the weekend. After dinner we played games and sang songs and handed out patches and swaps.

Having some food and drinks!

We had dinner at Pax Lodge - but it was A pizza slice!
For our last evening we are off to meet at the local pup for a drink - Gotto go!

Off the Isle of Wight tomorrow!
